How & When to Register
Registration is really simple. Fill out the registration form and Judy will get you all set up. As for when we are offering sessions, always check our upcoming sessions for dates and times.
Regular Registration
Registration is really easy! Simply fill out the registration information on the contact form and Judy will get back to you with the next steps of what to do.
Late Registration
Late Registration does happen. Simply send Judy a message, fill out the form and we will get you that information.

Facilities
Lessons are held at the Berkshire Club. During the Summer, lessons are held from Monday to Friday between 1:00 pm and 6:30 pm. During the School year, lessons are held on Sunday morning between 8:30am and 12:00pm. Please note we are not running lessons in the Fall of 2022, but should be back by early 2023.

Little Swimmers
Parent and Tots
The learner will:
- demonstrate correct posture in the water on front and back floats
- move arms and legs in the water
- jump into the water from shallow end, go under water
- use water toys and play games
- show parent techniques for submerging infant in water
- pass child from instructor to parent
Aqua Bee
The learner will:
- blow bubbles on the steps
- put fact in the water on the steps
- practice kicking while on the steps while blowing bubbles
- perform front and back floats while kicking with assistance
- enter and exit pool independently
- jump into the water with assistance
- play water games
- use aids while swimming
Bubbler
The learner will:
- perform front floats while blowing bubbles and kicking with assistance
- perform back floats while kicking with assistance
- get entire body wet
- jump into shallow water with assistance
- play water games
Glider
The learner will:
- Float unassisted on front
- Perform proper kicking action in water
- Perform back floats with assistance
- Jump into shallow water with assistance
- Play water games
Motorboat
The learner will:
- perform a front and back float with proper kicking action
- float across the width of pool while kicking
- perform 3-4 paddlewheel arms in a row
- jump into deep water with assistance
- play water games
- recite water safety pool rules
Paddlewheel
The learner will:
- perform 5-6 paddlewheel arms in a row while kicking
- demonstrate a back float with assistance
- begin performing breathing with front floats and paddlewheel arms
- recite water safety rules
Beginner Swimmers
Prebeginner
The learner will:
- perform 7-8 paddlewheel arms in a row while kicking
- demonstrate a back float without assistance
- tread water for 15 seconds
- perform a front and back float in the deep end
- perform rollover: front float to back and back to front in both shallow and deep water
- recite water safety regarding where and when to swim
- jump into deep water and perform paddlewheel arms to the side
Beginner
The learner will:
- demonstrate front crawl (1-2-3 breathe) with paddlewheel arms
- perform a front dive
- perform strong front and back floats in both shallow and deep water
- tread water for 20-25 seconds
- demonstrate water safety using buoyant object rescuing
- perform rhythmic: 10 times
- retrieve object from deep water
Dolphin
The learner will:
- perform front crawl with correct breathing for 10 meters
- perform a back float while kicking for 10 meters
- demonstrate a front dive
- solidly following through with front crawl
- perform a front and back float in both shallow and deep water
- tread water for 30 seconds
- demonstrate water safety using a P.F.D. and a life jacket
Marlin
The learner will:
- perform solidly front crawl for 20 meters
- perform a back crawl for 10 meters
- demonstrate a front dive and swim front crawl for 20 meters
- demonstrate the H.E.L.P position
- demonstrate water safety rescues using reaching assists
- perform a forward roll into deep water
- tread water for 1 minute
Intermediate Swimmers
Level 6
The learner will:
- 1 length of front crawl
- 1 length of back crawl
- ½ pool head-first sculling
- ½ pool feet-first sculling
- endurance swim 3 lengths any stroke
Level 7
The learner will:
- 2 lengths of front crawl
- 2 lengths of back crawl
- ½ pool whip kick on back
- ½ pool whip kick on front
- front sculling ½ pool
- feet first sculling on back ½ pool
- endurance swim 4 lengths any stroke
Level 8
The learner will:
- 3 lengths front crawl
- 3 lengths back crawl
- 1 length elementary back stroke
- 1 length breast stroke
- endurance swim 8 lengths
Level 9
The learner will:
- 4 lengths front crawl
- 4 lengths back crawl
- 2 lengths elementary back stroke
- 2 lengths breast stroke
- sculling of choice 1 length
- endurance swim 11 length
Level 10
The learner will:
- 5 lengths front crawl
- 5 lengths back crawl
- 3 lengths elementary back strokes
- 3 lengths breast stoke
- 1 length side stroke
- ½ pool dolphin kick
- endurance swim 17 meters
Advanced Swimmers
Level 11
The learner will:
- 6 lengths front crawl
- 6 lengths back crawl
- 3 lengths elementary back stroke
- 3 lengths breast stroke
- 3 lengths side stroke
- ½ pool butterfly
- endurance swim 22 lengths
Level 12
The learner will:
- 6 lengths front crawl
- 6 lengths back crawl
- 4 lengths elementary back stroke
- 4 lengths breast stroke
- 3 lengths side stroke
- 1 length butterfly
- endurance 28 lengths

The Jolly Swim School Inc. program provides goals for the students that are reasonable and attainable for success. Our program is skill based and also incorporates lifesaving skills. It is our goal to teach your child to be independent in the water and have the skills to be safe in an aquatic environment.
